These were very site- and light-specific works. They were sewn from translucent fabric, that was sometimes painted with a pigment mixture to increase the luminance. I re-used the fabric, re-sewing it anew whenever possible. The shapes and structure of the works evolved from long observation of light falling into a space.

Installation in the attic of the Kunsthaus. Open at dusk. There was limited lighting that switched off for several minutes.

Tanzsaal Mehmels
Installation in the former ballroom of an unused guest house. The fabric was painted with slightly luminous pigments. The sewn fabric shafts connected windows on two side of the room, illuminating like a sundial with the passing sun.

Cotton fabric, painted with iron oxides. Sewn to an intricate space structure inside the container, allowing for a view to the outside through translucent colour layers.
