African Black Oystercatcher Protection 2011-2012 Collaboration with Riana Rosenbaum.during the Breeding seasons at Betty's Bay Marine Protected Area. Oystercatchers are waders, raising the chicks in the intertidal zone. They will keep them on the beach at high tide, taking them onto the rocks at low tide. We created safe kelp areas for them to hide in. Everey day we renewed the corral and the kelp stations leading to it, thus always changing the formed kelp shapes.
Art Award Collaboration with Brendhan Dickerson for IDASA (Institute for Democracy in Southern Africa), Cape Town 2009. The venue has since closed. We don't know what happened to the mobile bronze sculpture which was 600cm long.
Art Award project "Kleidertragen" Basel 2001. I tailored dresses from the fabric of my former site-specific Installations. Slightly luminous in darkness, ten volunteers wore these during three weeks on their daily walks through the city. We met frequently.
