I see plastic packets as a symbol for the traces we leave behind on this planet. A symbol of mindless consumerism that destroys our environment and eventually, will do us in as well. Carried away in gusts or on mild breezes, packets cling to fences and trees, becoming shredded. Floating in deep water, they resemble jelly fish. There is a kind of beauty in their floating or blown form which is treacherous as they end up in the guts and cells of aquatic life, birds, and mammals, including us, too.
